Hello:
Could someone please tell me if nonalcoholic beer is available in Paris? Is it available in bistros, cafes, and/or restaurants? Also, could someone please give me the French name for it?
Thank you.

I think it%26#39;s called %26#39;bière sans alcool%26#39; and I think you can probably buy it in the soft drinks section of supermarkets but I have never seen it on sale in a cafe or Bistro,
Your best bet might be an %26#39;Irish%26#39; , %26#39;English%26#39; ,%26#39;Aussies%26#39; or %26#39;American%26#39; pub catering for ex pats and tourists
Mind you I have never seen the point of alcohol free beer or decaffeinated coffee

You have a few brands, namely Tourtel and Kronenbourg. I also had some Stella Artois but unfortunately never a Becks (German beer). You will find some in bistros and cafés, a bit more expensive than regular beer and bottles are smaller (250ml instead of 340ml).
Both Tourtel and Kronenbourg can also be found very easily in supermarkets.

Kronenbourg (which markets several brands, like Kronenbourg, Kronenbourg 2.6°, 1664, Kanterbräu, Gold, etc.) is usually alcoholic - but Tourtel is Kronenbourg%26#39;s non-alcoholic beer brand. So in bars and cafés, ask for %26quot;une bière sans alcool%26quot; or a %26quot;Tourtel%26quot;.

%26quot;Kronenbourg Pur Malt%26quot; is another Kronenbourg beer without alcohol.
Stella Artois and Becks do both have an alcohol-free (0.5%) beer, in their assortment (%26quot;Stella Artois NA%26quot; and %26quot;Beck%26#39;s Alkoholfrei%26quot;) but you won%26#39;t find it easily in Paris (and you certainly won%26#39;t get it if you just ask for Stella Artois or Becks).
Bavaria Malt is also worth a try, and shouldn%26#39;t be too difficult to find.

Good to know! In Paris I usually drink Kronenbourg 1664 or Leffe (regular alcoholic beer), but here in the States I%26#39;ve found Haake Beck to be the most palatable of the nonalcoholic options.
