where best to stay in Corsica

Hi you all

I dearly hope you can help me. This weekend we like to plan our trip to Corsica for the last week of May.

We very much like to go to a cosy little town (with preferrably nice restaurants on a boulevard) and a beach where we can swim with our babygirl.

Do you know a town that has it all (maybe Calvi ?)

I hope you can help us

greetings, Herbert from Holland

Hi Herbert,

Calvi sounds exactly like what you are looking for. It%26#39;s a small town so easily walkable, with plenty of good restaurants and nice boutiques. The waterfront is a great place for people-watching, there are lots of restaurants and cafés, and the marina adds an air of chic. The beach itself has fine sand and is very gently-shelving, so great for young children. There is also the small train which runs along the coast stopping at other beaches and towns.

Hope this helps, and have a great time!

Yes, Herbert, you have just described Calvi! You should be able to find somewhere nice at that time - if not, I%26#39;d suggest you also look at Algajola (much smaller, fewer restaurants open at that time) or Ile Rousse (a bit more French). The beaches in the Balagne region are perfect for a family group like yours. DTR
