We have booked a weeks stay at the Hotel Helios in June, and wondered how much it would be to use the hotels private beach, as I know the other beaches charge quite a lot.

Dont know this particular one but beaches along here tend to charge around 15-20 euros a day. The real charge is the premium on the drinks and bar

Hi,
We spent many happy days on at the Helios Plage beach and recall we paid about 15 euros a day each. We were there in Sepember and it was necessary to book in advance - especially to get the front row. The beach at Juan is gorgeous and clean, the sunbeds were very comfy and it was lovely to be waited on. You can even get a massage!
You don%26#39;t need to put your shoes on to go to lunch - the tables are all set out on the sand. Behind the beach there%26#39;s a bar with large wicker furniture - great place to retire to when you%26#39;ve had enough sun. Great memories of sitting with a chilled bottle of rose watching the sun go down. Wish i was there now!
Of course, you can always visit the beach barsand restaurants and sit on the public beach a little way down without paying anything!

Thanks for that, did you get any discount for using the beds for more than a couple of days?
Also, were the drinks and food very expensive at the Hotel%26#39;s beach?
|||
Hi,
I%26#39;m not sure about the discount - maybe worth asking for a block booking of several days or a week. I don%26#39;t recall the food and drinks being especially expensive. Mind you we work hard for our holidays and never worry too much. There%26#39;s a run of different establishments along that stretch of beach - you%26#39;re not obigated to eat at helios so probably something for all budgets. We ate at the beach restaurant next door a few times - lots of pasta and salad that was very reasonable.

Hi
Don%26#39;t worry too much about the prices here - all the beach bars are much of a muchness and in keeping with the general prices in the area. If you are on a budget - the beach next door to Helios - Le Colombier is about the cheapest and hippest around, plenty of pizzas and salads. However, by far the best time to dine on the beach is in the evening - same prices and you don%26#39;t have to look at acres of burning flesh while you eat. candlelit and all very romantic.
Enjoy your stay!
