No lunch at Le Jules Verne?

I%26#39;ve enjoyed lunch there in the past, but now I am told that it%26#39;s no longer being offered. True?

What exactly does %26#39;sur le pouce%26#39; mean. I understand its literal meaning but what is its practical application?

Help!

It means : to eat very quickly i.e. not sitting in a regular restaurant (or in your dining room) for a long time to eat a %26quot;proper%26quot; meal.

Before taking a train or a plane, you grab a sandwhich or you just have a quick sandwich in a bar : that is %26quot;manger sur le pouce%26quot;.

Thank you. So %26#39;sur le pouce%26#39; is not exactly was I was looking for from Le Jules Verne!

Lunch at le Jules Verne is still offered (I hope!) and I booked a table for mid april just a few weeks ago.

Jules Verne is under new management and will be undergoing a major rehaul. It is very likely that there will be disrupted service and an unusual schedule over the summer months, until the laces actually closes for a few weeks.

I believe %26quot;Mascara%26quot; posted that valuable information about closures directly from the restaurant a month ago!

Phread gave a warning on the 61th February about summer closures.

|||

Sorry 16th of course!

And before that on January 22, and probably before that also...
