are the sizing of beds the same as us ? looking for apartments and sometimes the queens look like our kings .
|||
The sizes may be a little different, but I suspect what%26#39;s making the queens look larger in apartment photos is the camera lens they%26#39;re using.

Boy, you sure hit that on the head! Beware the photos taken with a wide-angle lens!! I%26#39;ve been in apartments where the advertising photos must have been taken by somebody from across the street.

if you want to check just ask the french size and compare:
140cm = double
160 cm = queen
180 cm = king
|||
Full size is 140x195
Queen is 160x200
King is 200x200
|||
You sure about the 200 cm x 200 cm LaPhoto? I%26#39;ve always seen 180cm but 200 is unusual. What would you call a 200 cm? Something between queen and king?
|||
Grumble typo! Meant to say what would you call a 180 cm... something between queen and king?
|||
200cm seems very large considering the fact that rooms in Paris are small.

This is very helpful. I just looked at an apartment and it said %26quot;double bed 160 X 200 %26quot;. Well, that is actually a queen size by american standards. Maybe it was a mix up to english translation and they used the word %26quot;double%26quot; to mean for two people. Anyway, the measurements do clear things up !!
