We would love to hear of people that have stayed in hotels in the St Germain area that they can reccommend. We are happy to pay up to EURO 220 for a double. There are just so many hotels available that it would be great to narrow it down to a few with advice from Paris specialist advisors.
Thanks

Because I live in Paris I do not know the hotels that much.
I have to rely on my friends. I have heard good things about Hotel Bel Ami on rue des Saints Peres, excellent things about the Relais Saint Germain at Odeon and about Relais Christine on rue Christine. I have been in the lobby and know that the location is good.

I recommend the Hotel de Fleurie at http://www.fleurie-hotel-paris.com/

On the Left bank in the 14th arrondissment, the Marriott is my choice. Great beds, 32-inch TV, fantastic breakfast. 21-day advance purchase for 82 euros a night for a double. It was the Sofitel, but it was taken over by Marriott and totally renovated.
