Hi,
my husband and I have booked a week in Nice in July for us and our 2 kids(13%26amp;10).While we hope to do a bit of travelling round to Antibes,Menton etc.I don%26#39;t want the kids to feel %26#39;cultured out%26#39;especially if the weathers hot and wondered if there are any water parks or similar entertainment in the vicinity?we will be staying near St Laurent du Var and will be reliant on public transport.Thank you in advance,
Punnet

There%26#39;s Marineland at Biot a couple of minutes walk from the Biot train station also a stop for the 200 bus. There%26#39;s a big waterpark here plus an aquarium etc. The water park is my idea of hell, but my 11 year old daughter loves it. Get there early as there are a limited number of sunloungers in the shade. There%26#39;s a website if you google. AT St Laurant beach itself, there is a lively sailing/surfboarding school that will keep your children occupied. nicepebbles.com website has some family advice within its website that you might find useful. Also try renting rollerblades/bikes for the prom des anglais, there%26#39;s a rental place on the front near the chateau hill. In Nice Port, they might like to try scuba diving - there%26#39;s a special halfday course for beginners. Also, at Villeneuve, there%26#39;s a parcours treetop assault course to try, never been (mean to go this year) leaflets about it in the tourist centre. best wishes.
