Morning flight from Beauvais Airport

Hi!

I am going to Paris for 2 nights in April with my boyfriend but unfortunately we are flying from Beauvais on a 10am flight on the Sunday morning. This will be our first weekend in Paris so I would like to stay in the Latin Quarter/Saint Germain. Could anyone give me advice on where to stay considering we have to get out to Beauvais airport on the Sunday morning apparently there is a shuttle bus from Porte Maillot at 7am to catch our 10am flight on Sundays and its our first time in Paris so we would like to be close to everything. Would it be better to stay out near Porte Maillot? Any advice would really be appreciated as I%26#39;m feeling a bit frustrated about what to do for the best plus its a surprise 30th birthday present for my boyfriend so I want it to be a nice weekend with as little hassle as possible. My budget for the 2 nights in a hotel would be around €200

Porte Maillot is pretty far out, but only about 15 minutes from the right bank of central Paris on the #1 metro line. If you stay in the Latin Quarter, you%26#39;d have to get yourself over to the right bank, so I%26#39;d add another 15 minutes for that. Another option would be to pick a hotel on the right bank, on the #1 line, like the lively Marais district, which is close to the St. Paul metro stop and just across the river from the Latin Quarter. In addition to St. Paul, you might consider hotels near the Hotel de Ville and Chatelet metro stops.Of course, if you don%26#39;t like getting up really, really early on Sunday morning, you might consider staying out by Porte Maillot or someplace closer to it.

You can look at, or download, the metro map at www.ratp.fr.

On hotels, that looks like you want to spend about 100 euro a night. That would most likely be a 2-star or maybe a 3-star hotel. Check the reviews on this site. Also, I like the parisby.com website. They are a booking agency. I don%26#39;t book through them, but I use the info and photos on their website. Go to their site and search 2 and 3 star hotels in the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th arrondissements, paying attention to the closest metro stop.

HOtels in the 4th arrondissement would be another option.

Stay where youmost prefer, take a taxi or Metro to Porte Maillot.

Thanks so much everybody for your replies. I%26#39;ve decided to stay in Hotel Minerve in the Latin Quarter and get a taxi to Porte Maillot for our 7am bus. I was thinking of booking the taxi for 6.15 from our hotel on the Sunday morning, would that give us enough time? Also would anybody have an idea of taxi cost for that distance. I%26#39;m hoping no more than €20
