I read about it in Frommer%26#39;s and it is supose to be a really fun place to eat (in the 18th). It is a group type atmosphere and you get three courses for 15€ with your choice of meat or cheese fondue for dinner, including wine. I am really interested in eating here for a fun meal before we go to the Mouline Rouge. I was just curious if there was any feedback from someone that has actually been? I searched in on the forum and came up empty handed.

I haven%26#39;t been to that one, but there are a couple others in Montmartre I have been to that are very good.
Le Refuge des Fondues 17 rue des 3 Frères
This place is incredibly popular and a tad zany. YOu drink your red wine out of baby bottles, the owner is a hoot, there are communal tables, it%26#39;s very fun for groups. I have students who talk about this place for ages after a visit.
La Grolle de Montmartre 28 rue la Vieuville
This one is very authentic, run by a couple from the Savoie region. Theirs is a bit more expensive at 25 euros, but a lot of people in Paris consider it %26#39;the best%26#39;. I did notice the difference here. Although fondue is fondue.
DOn%26#39;t go when it%26#39;s hot outside. That%26#39;s torture.

Thanks Les,
Le Refuge des Fondues sounds exactly like Chez Les Fondue was described, right down to drinking out of the baby bottles. It sounded like a really fun and differnt experience since we are also going to some nicer restaurants during out visit. Do you know if you need a reservation for Le Refuge des Fondues? It was recommended for Chez.

I%26#39;m not entirely sure if they take reservations, I%26#39;ve gone w/ friends a few times and we%26#39;ve just walked in, but early-ish. (7:30, 8:00)
THing is, they are ENORMOUSLY popular...so it might be best to check.
This is where their Web site directs you:
