help w/children's sizes (Phread or other moms please help?)

I%26#39;ve been asked to bring back some t-shirts for a co-worker%26#39;s children but I know nothing about kids clothing sizes. One child wears a US 6/8, the second wears a 10/12 and the oldest wears a 14/16. Thanks folks!

The French sizes go by age and height.

The oldest mayhave to go into a men%26#39;s or women%26#39;s size small. Here is a sizing chart American to French.

Hope that helps you.

Your welcome %26quot;JustGrace%26quot; the kids clothng is really cute!

Do make sure that it is pre shrunk too! (The label you will be able to tell.)

I buy my 3 year old size 3...their clothes do run a touch smaller though...

Ask your co-worker to measure her children or t-shirts that fit them, and then take a tape measure with you when you shop. It%26#39;s the easiest way to avoid wasting your valuable vacation time and your money.

I would recommend going one size up. Your avg. American child is taller than your avg. French child. That would leave you looking for a 10ans, 14an and an adult S.

thanks again everyone. I was planning to go up one size... all three children are boys and they%26#39;re growing like gangbusters. So if the shirts don%26#39;t fit now, they probably will a week from now. :D
