Can you please help us ?
Were travelling overnight Madrid to Paris in mid may.
Does any one know what the supplement cost will be using our eurail pass (we have 1st class )?
Ive looked at raileurope .com and found that we want the comfort class (there are 2 of us ) which only gives one price. Is that supplement only or do we get a deduction as we have a eurail pass ?
Also how do you book it on the net and which site do we use ?
Thanks

The site you want is the Spanish rail site - www.renfe.es.
I%26#39;m not sure about booking in conjunction with a Eurail pass %26amp; the site isn%26#39;t the easiest to navigate. Post the question on the Madrid %26amp; Spain forums %26amp; someone should be able to help you.

You should be able to get the information on supplements from the agency that supplied the Eurail pass, e.g. www.eurailinfo.com/info-supplements.htm.
As you have not said which exact train you are taking I cannot tell what type of train it is, but the night trains I found in the timetable appear to be TGV which implies to me that they might be run by French Railways rather than Spanish. In that case, you might more easily find the information you need (and possibly also make the reservation) on www.voyages-sncf.com/dynamic/_SvHomePage…
The price indicated on raileurope.com is almost certainly the price for an individual ticket and not the supplement you have to pay for a reservation (few euros) and type of sleeping accommodation you require. I am not sure you can make this type of reservation online without also buying a ticket, which you presumably don%26#39;t want to do, but if the information isn%26#39;t on the Eurail website and you can%26#39;t get it from the Spanish Railways one, RENFE has a sales agent in the UK which you might find easier to deal with: tel. 44-20-7725 7063 email: enquiries@spanish-rail.co.uk.
