Does anybody know what weather I can expect when I go to Cannes in May?

If in the beginnig, to the middle of May it should be very pleasant. I%26#39;d bring a jacket/shawl for cooler temps in the evenings. We go towards the end, and for the last couple of years it%26#39;s been very hot, to the point of using A/C. However, those have been %26quot;heat waves%26quot;, and, across much of Europe ~ which, of course, is unpredictable.
