Help :- First trip to Paris, last minute decision- going next month ( late March )and am finding the hotel choice overwhelming. Alot of the reasonably priced good hotels seem to be booked up. Could any one suggest some possiblities for fairly central accomodation for family of four with two teenagers?
Plus any thoughts on activities please. Many thanks

NY - I%26#39;m going to %26quot;piggy back%26quot; on your request. I am planning a spontaneous trip (my 2nd %26amp; Mom%26#39;s first) for the week of March 18th and am having trouble finding availability in moderate priced hotels (US$100 - US$150 a night). Because my mom is not super mobile I am trying to keep her central and am interested in the following arr 3-7. I am very open to apts (since I rented in the 7th my first trip), but the studios and 1 bedrooms I have found in those areas are also booked. Here is a partial lists of some of the hotels which I have attempted to get reservations with:
Hotel Residence Monge – www.hotelmonge.com/hotel-standalone.php…
Hotel des Grandes Ecoles http://www.hotel-grandes-ecoles.com/
Hotel Residence henri IV www.residencehenry4.com/booking.html
Hotel Saint Christophe http://www.saint-christophe-hotel.com/
Hotel Muguet – www.paris-hotel-muguet.com/English/Rates.htm
Hotel Le Regent: http://www.regent-paris-hotel.com/index.html
Hotel Valadon: http://www.hotelvaladon.com/hotel.htm
Hotel St. Dominique: seems to have rooms, but unsure because of reviews on TA
Any other suggestions?

HOTEL AGORA ST GERMAIN
http://www.agora-paris-hotel.com
- - has rooms avail for March 18, 7 nights, 134€ or less.
HOTEL CASTEX
http://www.castex-paris-hotel.com/index.html
- - has rooms avail for March 25, 7 nights, 100€ (you%26#39;d need TWO rooms, but that gives you 2 bathrooms, too, a good thing with teenagers).

Federalhill - try Hotel Apollon Montparnasse. It gets very good reviews on TA and at quick glance, looks available for your dates.
New 2 NY - your situation is tougher because not alot of the smaller, more moderately priced hotels will allow 4 in a room. The Hotel Royal Madga may work for you (not knowing your exact price range). Also check the Citadines hotel chain if you haven%26#39;t already. They offer more hotel/apt. style lodging. Good luck!

New2NewYork
Here are some hotels with quad rooms you could try - you will need to check the reviews and also check that they are not 2 double beds unless your teenagers can bear to share
Hotel Residence des Gobelins

Hotel Des Halles - Louvre

Hotel la Manufacture - adjoining rooms

Hotel Residence Henri IV

Hotel des Grands Ecoles (if you are lucky and there has been a cancellation - it is popular)

Hotel Excelsior - an el cheapo

Sorry but I repeated some already mentioned by Federalhillgirl but you should try her suggestions too if you are going to be there on different dates?

For a two-star in a good location in the 5th try the Hôtel des Mines. Check the reviews on this site and elsewhere.
