When I was last in Paris, about 20 years ago (!!), I regularly ate a particular sandwich. I can%26#39;t recall if it has a special name, so I was hoping someone here might be able to help. It was a very plain sandwich: a baguette or half of one sliced down the middle, smeared with butter and then filled with a layer of ham.
Does anyone know if this sandwich has a special name? I can%26#39;t recall how I stumbled upon them, but I was able to get them almost everywhere.
