Paris Left Bank - Recommendations for a 4 star hotel

Hi all. My wife and I will be spending our 2nd anniversary in Paris and we would like to stay in a 4 star hotel on the Left Bank, preferably in the St Germain area. I have reserves at both Hotel Esprit Saint Germain (330E a night including breakfast and open bar in the lobby) as well as K %26amp; K Cayre (240E a night including breakfast). I can%26#39;t decide on whether Hotel Esprit is worth the extra $100/night? Any other recommendations. I tried Villa d%26#39;Estress but they are booked solid. Hotel d%26#39;Ausbusson doesn%26#39;t have any deals and can only offer 295E/night not including breakfast. Any opinions would be appreciated.

All of the hotels you have mentioned are respectable and the differences between them would be subjective any way. I assume that you have looked at the TA Paris hotels list and selectively sorted them into the price bracket you require. The reviews there are about as good as it gets, apart from the personal recommendation from someone you know well.

The best assessment process is what feels good to you from what is available to you at the time. It is possible, but unlikely that one person has stayed at all of the accomodations you mention in a more recent period of time to offer comment to you. I do know that the K %26amp; K chain generally have a good reputation.

If from your TA hotels search they all come up within the same bracket or position on the list, THe only differences would definitely be subjective. Which one(s) do you like the look of, of what rates well?
