The Mosque http://www.mosquee-de-paris.net/home.html is a good place. You cant smoke there, but the tea and cakes are good

For falafel check L%26#39;As du Fallafel (The Falafel Ace) on rue des Rosiers in the 4th (Marais). There is a very good N. African bakery, La bague de Kenza, on rue St. Maur in the Oberkampf area (11th) and there are several cafés nearby where water pipes are in evidence.

Enjoy!

Visit the %26quot;Institut du Monde Arabe%26quot; in the 5 e. The gift store where you enter has a tea lunch area. Many beautiful Moroccan ceramics and gift items.

The %26quot;Institut du Monde Arabe%26quot; has three different places to eat. The top floor has an outdoor restaruant that has a wonderful view .... you do not have to eat there to go out to it. Also on the top floor near the elevator is another self serve place.

The museum is a must see. I loved it. They have a book store too.

On the ground floor is another tea/lunch room.
