Message for rednez in particular - SNOW

See there has been plenty of snow in Chamonix over last few days and more on way, therefore am happy there will be plenty on the 14th when I arrive.

Is there skiing all the way down to Vallorcine at the moment ? and is there much snow in the town.

thanks as always

I am not there I am here in the UK.

On the website compagniedumontblanc.fr/presentation_domaine…

or www.chamonix.com

it shows which runs are open or closed and the snowdepths.

Argentiere has 30cm it does not mention Vallorcine although the runs shows closed. Chamonix show 0cm.

The run down to Vallorcine is not that great a run it is long winding and gentle. Better to take the telecabine down and have lunch at the station cafe. They do nice omelettes.

I came back yesterday, there is no snow in the town and you could not ski down to Vallorcine.

However plenty of snow up top and I enjoyed great skiing and the run down to the bottom of the Le Tour was open.
