Best bus stop to get off in Monaco to get the Tourist Train

We will be in Villefranche for one whole day in June and we plan to take the No.100 bus to Nice in the morning then catch the bus to Monaco/Monte-Carlo in the afternoon. I would first like to know the nearest stop to get off at for the Tourist Train. We thought by taking the Tourist train first would give us an insight into the geography of the area. Also are there any local buses to take you from Monaco to Monte-Carlo once you are there. Please forgive my ignorance of the area as I have not visited before. Thanks for any help given.

Just wondering why I have not got a reply. Surely someone out there knows this info. If so I would be grateful for their help. TIA

The departures and arrivals point for the little red and white %26quot;train touristique%26quot; is opposite the Oceanographic Museum.

Its to be found at the south-facing tip of Monaco-ville, which is up where the palace is. Its a hefty walk up to Monaco ville - your best bet is to alight from the TAM 100 in central Monte Carlo and walk round the port and up the steps up to the historic old area of Monaco, and by the narrow streets to the Oceanographic Museum.

Its kind of hard to describe in words as the geography of Monaco - Monte Carlo is a little eccentric. A map will soon sort you ought if you know what you are looking for.

Cheers
