we are staying at the hotel pierre nicole (39 rue pierre nicole). just wanted to know if anyone had stayed there, was the experience positive, and are there restraurant suggestions in the area? thanks.

Your hotel is a budget option and doesn%26#39;t have much presence on the internet... if you %26#39;google%26#39; for it, you%26#39;ll see it is often recommended to business visitors / organizations..
The location is near RER station Port Royal.. that%26#39;s at one end of Blvd Montparnasse, which has quite a few restaurants on it and on streets running off it, espec. toward the other end and around metro Vavin. You can use the RER-B line and a couple of bus lines around the Port Royal station...
Maybe if you read the TA hotel reviews for Hotel Observatoire Luxembourg, Hotel Port Royal, Hotel Aiglon and Hotel Istria, you will gather some notes about the nearby area.
