Character meals....

We are travelling to DLP on the 4th March for 2 nights and will definitely be taking up one of the character meals - preferably one of the tea or dinner ones.

Question is, what characters do you generally get to meet? My 3 yr old loves the Disney Princesses and Pooh and it would be great for her to see them.

Also, which restaurant/time is best?

Thanks

A quick afterthought: Inventions restaurant at the Disneyland Hotel..... is that just for residents of that hotel?

The characters depend on which restaurant you are in and also who Disney send out - you are not guaranteed the same characters everytime.

You can do a meet and greet with the Disney Princesses at the castle entrance. I believe you might also find one if you do the afternoon tea at the Plaza Gardens restaurant at the end of Main Street.

Pooh I am not so sure about as its quite a hot costume and not very moveable (sorry if I shatter anyones illusions at this point) - you are more likely to find him again at a meet and greet point or in the hotels at a photo point - Sequoia Lodge defo.

Cafe Mickey in the Disney village often has Hook, Smee, Goofy plus more at meal times there.

Lucky Nugget in Frontierland also has characters in there but not sure what - I would imagine Tic and Tac as thats the land you see them in the most plus maybe Donald if there is someone short enough to play him.

As for Inventions no you don%26#39;t have to be a resident but you do have to prebook.

Some good info on the restaurants on the Disney site …disneylandparis.co.uk/restaurants-and-bars/…

Many thanks for the informative reply.

Its good to know that she can at least meet the Princesses at the castle, that may be enough for her. I am worried that she will freak out a bit if she gets to meet a character she doesn%26#39;t know (she has just turned 3).

The afternoon tea buffet at Plaza Gardens sounds good, fairly informal I guess rather than a full sit down meal.

Thanks again.

The amount of times I have run after a screaming child after waiting in line to meet a character only for them to freak out when they get to the front of the queue!!

Can%26#39;t comment on Character Meals, we have just gone to Cafe Mickey where there are often 5-6 characters in the restaurant at a time, but definitely no Pooh or Princesses there.

If your little one really wants to see Pooh, he was at the Fantasyland Stage everyday from 10-12:30 during February, but it might change in March. For up to date meet%26#39;n%26#39;greet times check …disneylandparis.co.uk/meet-disney-character…

If your little one likes the Disney Princesses there is always Disney Princess parade at 4pm through the park, starts at Fantasyland near the Small World ride down through Main Street, as it is pretty slow, we watched it pass the Castle Stage then do a runner down through the arcade to see it all again as it went out through the gates.

Have a great time, we are going back in May for our 3rd visit in 12mths.

Pooh and friends are at the Crystal Palace. The breakfast there is pretty good, I have not been there for any other meals.

Not sure on the princesses as I have all boys, but check out allearsnet.com they have info on all the restaurants.

Think you mean one of the US parks Storzo. The thread is about the Paris park.

We dined at Cafe Mickey and it was absolutely fantastic.

We arrived at 6.30pm and were shown straight in. We got to meet Chip n Dale, Tigger, Mickey, Mr Smee, Goofy and Pluto.

My daughter loved it. It was pricey (€94) but very much value for money as the food was excellent quality and our daughters face was worth any amount of money.
