Have just realised our time/stay in Avignon at the end of May will be Sunday (after flying in and arriving in the afternoon)night and Monday night ( before we leave to drive 40 mins to stay 3 nights in Crillon. This means most of our sightseing time will be the whole day on the Monday and a the pm of Sunday. Can we see the main sights on those days, as so much seems shut onthe Monday according to info read ?

yes the main sights in Avignon are open all the time (I think they close Xmas day!)
Monday is a quiet day in the town but things are open.
