Apartment fronting Blvd Voltaire. Noise levels?

I%26#39;m about to confirm an apartment rental on the Blvd Voltiare.We are on the 2nd floor.The apartment is right in front of the St Ambroise Church. Wondering if I may have a problem with noise levels.

I know the area. Bd Voltaire is a fairly busy, two-lane avenue, and 2nd (European?) floor is not very high up.

Keeping in mind typical Parisian flat floorplans, what really matters is whether the bedroom is on the street or courtyard side. Double glazing is also always a plus.

I can%26#39;t speak for your hotel but we stay in the hotel europe in the 15th arr, usually facing the street front which has a RER train line running right past the window........the windows are double glazed and I can honestly say you can not hear a single sound from it. I would assume that anywhere with excessive noise would more than likely have it covered.

Perfectly nice neighborhood. Busy intersection. Best advice is Trudaine%26#39;s: %26lt;%26lt;Keeping in mind typical Parisian flat floorplans, what really matters is whether the bedroom is on the street or courtyard side. Double glazing is also always a plus.%26gt;%26gt;
