Traveling to paris with a wheelchair

In looking at visiting Paris Arrving on the eurostar from london. Need some advice please on the best place to stay that is modern and has a lift to all floors. Thinking of getting around paris on a tour bus. Does anyone no how good they are to get on and off with a wheelchair. anyother advise very greatfully.

With regard to the hotel, I think you should probably try the larger chains, like Mercure, Novotel, etc. In some of the smaller budget hotels I stayed, the lift (if present) was not much larger than a coffin. They probably just have it because a lift is required for hotels with 2 stars (or even 1 star?). So don%26#39;t assume that when a hotel has a lift, it can be used by someone in a wheelchair- always ask!
