I will be picking up a car from Europcar (booked through Auto Europe) and want to know where their desk is located in the TGV station, or is it in an off-site building?

All the rental offices are right outside the station. I think the farthest you would have to walk to any of them is probably 100 yards.

Irish is right. There are two exit/entries to the station though. If you walk out of one and see nothing but parking, a small tourist office, a taxi stand and a large gate just off in the distance, you have walked out the wrong side. This side is actually the side you will drive out of with your rental car.
If you walk out the other side, you will immediately see the %26quot;one minute drop zone%26quot; where cars can park briefly to drop off travelers. Just beyond that and down some stairs are all the car rental agencies. You will see yours from the top of the stairs.
